Hot Summer Largemouth Bass Fishing in Florida

This was one of the hottest summer days I’ve had trying to catch these finicky Florida Largemouth Bass. There was no wind, and the heat index quickly rose to over 100 degrees. We’re free-lining wild Shiners over open water, submerged weed beds, and throwing some topwater Spybaits at the Butler Chain of Lakes near Orlando, Florida.

    I have fished Butler twice in the last two weeks in a row and only got 3 fish each time. Primarily watermelon fluke. Been rough out there
